TranzCom is currently recruiting +10 highly qualified profiles to achieve its ambitions Asse, 3 October 2022 – TranzCom, the brand of VINCI Energies Belgium dedicated to telecommunications and energy distribution, recently transferred its telecommunication activities to its Axians brand. Axians is the brand of VINCI Energies that focuses on information and telecommunication technology. In addition to the rebranding, both Axians and TranzCom will be relocating to new premises on Kruiskouter in Asse, with the festive opening planned for 5 October!
VINCI Energies Belgium, employing a workforce of 2,800 and with a revenue of €600 million euros, acquired the former AEG TranzCom in 2015. The current rebranding campaign will house TranzCom’s telecommunications activities with Axians. The energy division will continue to operate as TranzCom. Furthermore, both entities will be relocating to new premises in Asse.
‘The site in Asse, with new office spaces, a 4,000 m2 metal workshop, test laboratories and numerous other facilities, will be accommodating 110 employees, ranging from engineers and technicians to skilled workers and administrative staff, for at least nine years’, announces Frédéric Mayné, Managing Director of VINCI Energies Belgium’s Infra & Telecom Division.
‘The new premises will give us the space and facilities we need to achieve our ambitions for the coming years. We are currently looking for more than ten highly qualified candidates to fill a number of vacant positions’, says Marc Lemaire, Managing Director of VINCI Energies Belgium. ‘In our ongoing search for efficiency and simplification, bringing similar activities together under the same brand name in order to achieve maximum synergy is a logical and inevitable step.’
Giving back to the community
Aside from the rebranding and relocation to Asse, there is another reason to celebrate for VINCI Energies and its subsidiaries: the 10-year anniversary of the VINCI Fund. The company has always demonstrated a high level of social engagement and, together with its employees, wishes to contribute to the wellbeing of the local community through social and/or sports activities. This prompted the company to establish the Belgian VINCI Fund in 2012.
‘The VINCI Fund supports organisations with a social and societal goal, joining forces to fight every form of exclusion and give every member of our society a place, position and dignity of their own. We do this not only through financial support, but also by giving our employees the chance to do volunteer work (via a mentorship) for the organisations that receive support from the Fund, concludes Marc Lemaire.
