SMART METERS

Smart meters, are electricity meters that measure and register the energy consumption and/or energy production. Smart meters play a major role in the energy transition. Since they allow us to measure the consumption and thus determine which appliances and actions consume more energy, they are a concrete way of saving money.

Video protection

The video solution is an essential step in the transistion towards a “smart city”. It aims to make a city more pleasant to live in. CHARGING STATIONS & SPEED CAMERAS

Our expertise in electromobility and energy management allows us to adjust to the most diverse situations, depending on the location of the charging stations, the desired charging time, the type of electrical installation (which may or may not needs to be adapted), the method of payment discussed beforehand, ….

Automated speed control systems, or “automatic speed cameras”, have been used in Luxembourg since 2016. In addition to the on-site speed control, these devices can now also check the average speed on a road section and the crossing of a red light or a railway crossing.

Underground lines
In order to optimise energy distribution, City Electric installs underground medium voltage electricity networks in cities and country areas for both the public and private sector. City Electric offers complete solutions from design to implementation. We have the know-how and specific equipment to pull cables.

City Electric carries out all types of installations of telecommunication cables, regardless of the installation (in galleries, ducts, cable trays, micro-tubes).

MEDIUM VOLTAGE SUBSTATIONS

The connection to the electricity distribution network is achieved through the installation of medium voltage (MV) substations – MV cabins and MV/LV power transformers. They enable our clients to ensure a sufficient supply of electricity for their large-scale installations.

City Electric has the experience to work on both new and existing installations. To this end, we work on setting up work scenarios that guarantee the supply of electricity throughout the duration of the intervention (setting up an auxiliary or emergency generator, temporary situations, etc.).
